ਓਇ ਅਗੈ ਕੁਸਟੀ. ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਫਿਟਕੇ; ਜਿ ਓਸੁ ਮਿਲੈ. ਤਿਸੁ ਕੁਸਟੁ ਉਠਾਹੀ ॥

oe agai kusattee. gur ke fittake; ji os milai. tis kusatt utthaahee |

Sant Singh KhalsaThey have already become like lepers; cursed by the Guru, whoever meets them is also afflicted with leprosy.

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਿਰਕਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੀ ਕੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੋਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਵੁਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੇ ਫਿਟਕੇ ਹੂਏ ਅਗੇ ਹੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਥੇ, ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਉਨ ਕੋ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੋ ਉਸ ਕੋ ਭੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਟ ਹੀ ਉਠਤਾ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅਤੀ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੀ ਕੋਹੜੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਕੋਹੜ ਚਮੋੜ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿ = ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ। ਉਠਾਹੀ = ਚਮੋੜ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਸਿੱਖੋ!) ਰੱਬ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਭੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ (ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ) ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਚਿਤ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਲਈ) ਕੋਈ ਉਪਾਵ ਕਾਰਗਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਭਾਵ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮਥੇ ਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ) ਉਹ (ਸਭ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਸਭ ਖੰਡਾਂ-ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਆ-ਜੰਤ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜਿਸ ਕਰਤੇ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਬੈਠ ਕਰ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਹੈ, ਸੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪੈਜ ਰਖਤਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵ ਜਿਸ ਹਰੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਕਰ ਅਮਰ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਕੋ ਤਿਲਕ ਦੀਆ ਹੈ, ਸੋਈ ਸਮਰਥ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਆਪ ਪਤਿ ਰਖਤਾ ਹੈ॥੩॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਜਨਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਮਾਣ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਲਾਜ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਇਸ (ਸਰੀਰ) ਵਿਚ (ਦੈਵੀ ਗੁਣ-ਰੂਪ) ਗੁੱਝੇ ਲਾਲ ਲੁਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਟ ਕੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਡੂੰਘੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨਾਲ) ਕੱਢਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਹਜ ਰਤਨ = ਗੁੱਝੇ ਲਾਲ। ਖੋਤਿ = ਖੋਤਰ ਕੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਭੁ = ਹਰ ਥਾਂ। ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ = ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ। ਓਤਿ = ਉਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਚ। ਪੋਤਿ = ਪਰੋਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਚ (ਤਾਣੇ ਤੇ ਪੇਟੇ ਵਿਚ)।
