ਜਿਨਾ ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਦੇ ਵਡਿਆਈ; ਸੇ ਜਨ ਸਚੀ ਦਰਗਹਿ ਜਾਣੇ ॥੧੧॥

jinaa aape guramukh de vaddiaaee; se jan sachee darageh jaane |11|

Sant Singh KhalsaThat Gurmukh, whom You have blessed with greatness - that humble being is known in Your True Court. ||11||
Manmohan SinghThe man, whom Thou blesseth with greatness, through the Guru, are renowned in Thy True court O Lord.

Prof. Sahib Singhਕਲਜੁਗੀ ਸੁਭਾਉ (ਮਾਨੋ) (ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਕੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੀ) ਮੱਟੀ ਹੈ; ਕਾਮ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲਾ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ) ਮਨ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਲਿ = ਕਲਜੁਗੀ ਸੁਭਾਉ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ। ਕਲਵਾਲੀ = ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਕੱਢਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮੱਟੀ। ਮਦੁ = ਸ਼ਰਾਬ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਲਾਹਣਿ = ਸੱਕ ਗੁੜ ਪਾਣੀ ਆਦਿਕ ਜੋ ਰਲਾ ਕੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵਿਚ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਰੂੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਦੱਬ ਕੇ ਤਰਕਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਤੁ = ਸੱਚ। ਸਰਾ = ਸ਼ਰਾਬ। ਸਾਰੁ = ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਹ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਖਾਧਿਆਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ. ਨ ਸਿਮਰਹਿ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ; ਤੈ ਤਨਿ ਉਡੈ ਖੇਹ ॥

har naam. na simareh saadhasang; tai tan uddai kheh |

Sant Singh KhalsaThat body, which does not remember the Lord's Name in meditation in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, shall be reduced to dust.
Manmohan SinghThe body, which meditates not on the God's Name in the saints' congregation, disintegrates like the dust.
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਉਹ ਦੇਹ, ਜੋ ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ, ਧੂੜ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਿਲਰ ਪੁਲਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਜੋ ਜੀਵ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਕੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਮਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਮੇਂ ਪਾਪੋਂ ਰੂਪ (ਖੇਹ) ਧੂਰ ਉਡਤੀ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇ ਸੁਆਹ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਭਾਵ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ)।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੈ ਤਨਿ = ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇ। ਖੇਹ = ਸੁਆਹ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਲਾਹਨਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਚਿਆ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਜਿਸ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਨੇ ਦੇਹ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਨਤੇ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਐਸੀ (ਅਲੂਣੀ) ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੇ ਰਹਿਤ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਦੇਹੀ ਕੋ ਭੀ ਫਿਟਕਾਰ ਹੈ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਤੋਂ ਸੱਖਣੇ ਉਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਧਿੱਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਛਾਣਦਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਨਿ = ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ। ਅਲੂਣੀ = ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਵਿਹੂਣੀ। ਦੇਹ = ਸਰੀਰ ॥੧॥
