ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਪਾਈਐ ਪਰਮਾਰਥੁ; ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਮਨੁ ਖਚਨਾ ॥

Sant Singh KhalsaBy Guru's Grace, the greatest thing is obtained, and the mind is involved with the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation.

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ = ਹੇ ਗੁਰੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਾਲ, ਤੈਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨਾਲ। ਪਰਮਾਰਥੁ = ਉੱਚੀ ਪਦਵੀ। ਸੇਤੀ = ਨਾਲ। ਖਚਨਾ = ਜੁੜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

agam anant anaad; aad jis. koe. na jaanai |

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਗਮੁ = ਅਪਹੁੰਚ। ਅਨੰਤੁ = ਬੇਅੰਤ। ਅਨਾਦਿ = (ਅਨ-ਆਦਿ) ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਢ ਲੱਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ। ਆਦਿ = ਮੁੱਢ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਿਰੰਚਿ = ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ। ਨਿਤਹਿ = ਸਦਾ। ਬਖਾਣੈ = ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭੰਜਨ ਗੜ੍ਹਣ ਸਮਥੁ = ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ। ਤਰਣ ਤਾਰਣ = ਤਾਰਣ ਲਈ ਜਹਾਜ਼। ਤਰਣ = ਜਹਾਜ਼।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭਟਕਿ = ਬੌਂਦਲ ਕੇ। ਭਜਤ = ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਹਰਿ = ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ। ਸਹਜ = ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ। ਬਿਗਸੇ = ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
