ਪੁਰਬ ਲਿਖੇ ਕਾ; ਲਿਖਿਆ ਪਾਈਐ ॥

purab likhe kaa; likhiaa paaeeai |

Sant Singh KhalsaYou shall obtain your pre-ordained destiny.

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪੁਰਬ = ਪਹਿਲੇ। ਪੁਰਬ ਲਿਖੇ ਕਾ = ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਮੇ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ, ਹੁਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਮੇ ਦੇ ਬੀਜੇ ਦਾ। ਲਿਖਿਆ = ਸੰਸਕਾਰ-ਰੂਪ ਲੇਖ, ਸੁਭਾਉ-ਰੂਪ ਬੀਜ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰੇਖ = {Skt. रेखा) ਚਿਹਨ-ਚੱਕ੍ਰ। ਤ੍ਰਿਹੁ ਗੁਣ ਤੇ = (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ) ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ। ਭਿੰਨ = ਵੱਖਰਾ, ਨਿਰਲੇਪ, ਬੇ-ਦਾਗ਼। ਤਿਸਹਿ = ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ।
