ਇਹੁ ਜੀਉ ਸਦਾ ਮੁਕਤੁ ਹੈ; ਸਹਜੇ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੨॥

eihu jeeo sadaa mukat hai; sahaje rahiaa samaae |2|

Sant Singh KhalsaThen, this soul is liberated forever, and it remains absorbed in celestial bliss. ||2||

Prof. Sahib Singhਫਿਰ ਇਹ ਆਤਮਾ ਸਦਾ (ਮਾਇਆ-ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ) ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅਡੋਲ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੁਕਤੁ = ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ॥੨॥

* ਨੋਟ: ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ "ਮਨ ਤਉ ਮੈਗਲੁ ਹੋਇ ਰਹਾ"। ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ "ਹਉਮੈ ਮਨੁ ਅਸਥੂਲੁ ਹੈ"; 'ਮੈਗਲੁ' ਬਣਨ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ 'ਹਉਮੈ'।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧ੍ਰਿਗੁ = ਫਿਟਕਾਰ-ਯੋਗ। ਜੁਗ = ਜਨਮ, ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ।

ਮਾਇਆ ਖੋਟੀ ਰਾਸਿ ਹੈ; ਏਕ ਚਸੇ ਮਹਿ ਪਾਜੁ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਇ ॥

maaeaa khottee raas hai; ek chase meh paaj leh jaae |

Sant Singh KhalsaMaya is false capital; in an instant, its false covering falls off.
Manmohan SinghMammon is the false capital and in an instant its gilding falls off.
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਧਨ-ਦੌਲਤ ਇਕ ਜਾਹਲੀ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਹੈ। ਇਕ ਮੁਹਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮੁਲੰਮਾ ਉਤਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਮਾਇਆ ਕੀ (ਰਾਸਿ) ਪੂੰਜੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੋਟੀ ਹੈ। ਇਕ ਚਸਾ ਮਾਤ੍ਰ ਮੇਂ ਇਸ ਕਾ (ਪਾਜੁ) ਗੰਢ ਉਤਰ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਅਨਸਿਥਰ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਮਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਖੋਟੀ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਜ ਤਾਂ ਇਕ ਪਲਕ ਵਿਚ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਾਸਿ = ਪੂੰਜੀ। ਚਸਾ = ਪਹਰ ਦਾ ਵੀਹਵਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ। ਪਾਜੁ = ਵਿਖਾਵਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇ ਇਹ ਗੁਆਚ ਜਾਏ (ਇਸ ਦੇ ਗ਼ਮ ਨਾਲ) ਸਰੀਰ ਕਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਕੁਮਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਥਹੁ ਛੁੜਕੀ = ਹਥੋਂ ਗੁਆਚੀ ਹੋਈ, ਜੇ ਗੁਆਚ ਜਾਏ। ਨੋਟ: 'ਹਥਹੁ ਛੁੜਕੀ' ਵਿਚ 'ਮਾਇਆ ਖੋਟੀ ਰਾਸਿ' ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਹੈ। ਸੋ, 'ਜੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਏ' ਅਰਥ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਹੈ)। ਬਦਨੁ = (ਸੰ: ਵਦਨ) ਮੂੰਹ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਉਪਾਇ ਕਿਤੈ = ਕਿਸੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ। ਕਰਮ ਵਿਧਾਤਾ = ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਧ ਬਨਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ, ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹੰਸ = ਜੀਵ-ਆਤਮਾ। ਕਿਆ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ = ਕਾਹਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ (ਕੱਚੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ)। ਪਇਆ ਹੀ = ਪਈ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ।
