ਪਿਰ ਕੀ ਸਾਰ. ਨ ਜਾਣਈ; ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਪਿਆਰੁ ॥

pir kee saar. na jaanee; doojai bhaae piaar |

Sant Singh KhalsaShe does not know the value of her Husband Lord; she is attached to the love of duality.

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਹ ਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਕਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੀ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਰ = ਕਦਰ। ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ = ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਵੇਂ ਵਾਜਾ ਵਜੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਜਿਵੇਂ ਚਾਹੇ ਵਜਾਏ) ਤਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜੰਤੁ = ਜੰਤ੍ਰ, ਵਾਜਾ। ਜੰਤੀ = ਵਾਜਾ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ।

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹਮਾਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸੁਣੀਏ ਕਿ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਕੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਕੇ ਮੁਖਾਰਬਿੰਦ ਰੂਪੀ ਬਦਲ ਸੇ ਸਰਬ ਜਗ ਮੇਂ ਬਰਸੈ। ਭਾਵ ਸੇ ਸਰਬ ਜੀਵੋਂ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ ਕਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਰੈਂ ਜੋ ਇਨਕੀ ਕਲਿਆਨ ਹੋਇ ਜਾਵੈ। ਵਾ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਨੋ: ਜੈਸੇ ਜਗਤ ਮੇਂ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਰੂਪੀ ਮੋਹੁ ਵਰਸਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੈਸੇ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਭੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰਿ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀਜੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਤੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿ) ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸੁਣ, ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ (ਨਾਮ ਦੀ) ਵਰਖਾ ਹੋਵੇ (ਇਸ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰਦਾ ਹੈ)।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਹ ਵਡਿਆਈ (ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ) ਚੰਗੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ। (ਸੋ) ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਜੈ ਜੈਕਾਰ ਕਰਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਉਸਤਤਿ = ਵਡਿਆਈ। ਜੈਕਾਰੁ = ਸੋਭਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮਨਮੁਖ ਦੇ) ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਅਕਲਿ ਹੋਛੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਉਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਦਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ;
