Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਖਸਮ! ਤੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਹੈਂ! ਤੂੰ ਧੰਨ ਹੈਂ! ਜਿਸ ਜਗਤ-ਰਚਨਾ ਰਚ ਕੇ ਅਸਾਨੂੰ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਵਾਹੁ = ਧੰਨ, ਅਸਚਰਜ। ਹਮ ਕੀਏ = ਅਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਹੇ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ (ਬਰਕਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ (ਆ ਕੇ) ਖ਼ਾਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੇ ਬੇ-ਮੁਥਾਜ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪੁਰ = ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ। ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹ = ਹੇ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਦਰਿ = ਦਰ ਤੇ। ਊਣਾ = ਸੱਖਣਾ ॥੧॥
